 Tee Up The Traditional Way

The Forest Country Club, best recognized in Southwest Florida as a true golf club,” is an idyllic setting. Every effort has been made to retain the natural beauty of wooded areas and sparkling lakes found on the property where birds and wildlife abound. This largely unspoiled terrain serves as a background for the two newly renovated championship eighteen-hole golf courses. Designed to challenge golfers at all handicap levels, each course caters to the most exacting golfers as well as being forgiving of those with higher handicaps.

All facilities have been planned with the golfer in mind. The practice range, approach green and traps, and two putting greens are conveniently located to help you improve your game. A splendid enthusiastic professional staff, led by Bill Harley, is available for individual lessons on season-long clinics utilizing the latest teaching techniques. The pro shop is well stocked with the latest equipment and fashionable clothing to meet every golfer's need.

Golfing events at The Forest are many and varied. Men's Day provides friendly competition every Wednesday. There is a very active women's golf association for both eighteen and nine-hole lady golfers on Thursdays and Fridays. Weekly couple's events offer an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with other Forest members. And of course, one of our strongest assets, tee times are always available for regular play.

Fitness at the Forest

A new 1,500 square foot fitness center sports Life Fitness equipment provides members with a complete workout experience. Fitness classes are enjoyed in the mornings in the main dining room’s dance floor.

Tennis Everyone

The Tennis Complex has six perfectly groomed all-weather lighted courts. The Forest’s Tennis staff provides a variety of activities as well as league play for all levels of players with a particularly well-known Youth Program.

Social Everything

For your dining pleasure, the beautiful clubhouse offers formal dining featuring table-side preparation by our chef and casual fare in the Cypress Grill and Gumbo Limbo Lounge. Members find with the excellent fare available at The Forest there is no need to patronize crowded local restaurants.

Social events fill the calendar. Dinner dances, evenings of bridge, stag dinners, and theme parties are some of the many opportunities members have to share the club with family and friends. The Computer Club, the Book Club, the Theatre Club and the Wine Club are just a few of the extracurricular activities enjoyed by the membership.

The Forest Country Club is member owned and governed by a duly elected Board of Directors. The Forest is operated as a not-for-profit corporation with income used solely for member benefits.
