The Forest Country Club offers twice the golfing pleasure. The famed Bear Course exceeds the expectations of all who experience it, including participants in the U.S. Open Qualifier and Florida Match Play Championship, both hosted by the course. Ranked by GOLFWEEK Magazine as one of Florida’s Top 25 Most Distinctive Courses, The Bear provides the ultimate golfing challenge. However, with five sets of tees, even junior players enjoy braving The Bear.
The Bobcat, on the other hand, is no pussycat. Time after time, the design, beauty and immaculate condition of this course presents a new challenge. The Bobcat and The Bear both feature brand new ultra-dwarf greens. The Bobcat was renovated in 1997 and the Bear in 1999. Also in 1999, the driving range tripled in size to accommodate the many Forest golf enthusiasts who enjoy quiet tune-up time.
Golfing events at The Forest Country Club are many and varied. Men, women and couples enjoy friendly and competitive playing opportunities on a weekly basis.
The golf professionals are recognized in the community for their outstanding junior programs. Youths of all ages can participate in summer camps, Saturday morning clinics and after-school programs.
