On or Off the Links, Style is Essential!
When searching for a new place to call home, we consider all of our options from the courses to compatibility with the other members. Joining a country club takes many different aspects into account, but for the most part, revolve around one thing - style. The Forest Country Club is your elite destination that prioritizes the country clubs ever-changing way of life. From course diversity to apparel, take a look at why our 'style' redefines tradition.

Playing Style

For many clubs, the centerpiece is the courses. While golf courses can be sorted into multiple categories based on their landscape to the amount of time it takes to play the course, course diversity remains a key element when choosing the right club for you. We all like a challenge, so what better way than to challenge your playing style!

At The Forest, we are grateful to offer our members two prestigious 18 hole courses. Varying in two playing styles, our members' games will never be the same! A year off of our 3.85 million dollar renovation, and annual summer maintenance, our Par 72 Bobcat Course is ready for your next tee off! With an abundance of lakes, preservation areas, beautiful oaks, and cypress trees, the gorgeous greens and lush fairways call your name. The first key to showing low scores on the long and narrow Bobcat Course is to accept the challenge in front of you. Rather than trying to power swing your way through the narrow golf course, adapt your game to the layout that's in front of you. Focus your efforts on hitting accurate and controlled tee shots to set up easy approaches onto the green.

The Bear Course, which has been the host to over five United States Golf Association events, including the U.S. Open Qualifier, provides the ultimate golfing challenge. This course varies from its counterpart by being long and narrow. If you are looking for a great course for the whole family or various skill levels, The Bear exceeds all expectations. With five sets of tees, juniors, or beginner golfers enjoy braving the bear!

Clothing Styles

Golfers have paid close attention to their attire since the game's birth in 15th century Scotland. Traditional styles are often seen with tartan plaids and cardigan sweaters. For golfers, clothing is more than just functional golfing attire; it embodies style, fashion, and club pride. Our Golf Pro Shop is always stocked with the latest and trendiest golf clothing varying in brands! With our 2020-2021 season right around the corner, our Golf Shop will start receiving new shipments of apparel and golf shoes in September. New offerings will include Belyn Key, Callaway, Cobra, Columbia, ECCO, EP, FootJoy, Jamie Sadock, Jofit, Johnnie-O, Peter Millar, Puma, and Titleist for our ladies and men. Of course, what better way to show off your club pride than with branded golfing attire from belts and hats to headcovers and towels! Golf style is now compatible not only with playing comfortability, but having the luxury of joining the clubhouse for lunch without having to change! Golf attire is versatile in more ways than one, and with the ability to shop on-site, it's ideal for members and guests to find just what they are looking for in The Forest Golf Shop!

Event Styles

Just like each member is different in personality and desired hobbies, memberships should also vary in style. We have a membership package that is styled to suit your lifestyle! From a Social Membership to Executive Golf, our membership director, Brenda Lanza, will help you discover the perfect membership for you!

While there are various packages to choose from, each one features new annual events with different themes! Whether you're a part of our competitive Member-Guest Invitational or looking for a more fun and relaxed event, there's plenty! For example, the upcoming season will kick off our annual Nine & Dine Events for our members. From cowboys to elves, the themes are unlimited, and the members go all out! Two of our dearest members, Denise Shack and Jane Friel, live in two different states, but that doesn't stop them from planning out their Nine & Dine outfits for the upcoming season!

Member Style

The most important thing when it comes to picking a country club is your compatibility with the other members. Our members and staff are one of the most adorned components of The Forest Country Club lifestyle. We believe in a club where everyone is welcomed and treated like family. When you're a part of The Forest, everyone knows your name, not your number.

If you are ready to join a club that prioritizes all of the above styles, look no further. From course diversity to welcoming and loving members and staff, your home is right here! To find out more about memberships, schedule a private tour with Brenda Lanza, at 239-482-1310.
