The Top Golf Experiences, Only at The Forest
When you look back at your golf career, you want the satisfaction of knowing you crossed everything off your bucket list. No, that doesn't necessarily mean the endless pursuit of visiting the Top 100 courses. We are referring to concepts like playing on two separate courses in one day, walking the courses, getting an ace, and having a remarkable experience on and off the green. Golf at The Forest is all about experiences. Take a look at some of our Forest top pics that every golfer should experience in their lifetime!

Discover Links in Southwest Florida

Whether you're planning a golf vacation or have been a Floridian for years, hitting the Florida links can be a whole new experience. If you've been craving some sunshine, fresh air, and golf, The Forest is the answer. We will become your seasonal destination you look forward to throughout the year. From course conditions to wildlife, the new golfing experience is waiting for you! While the fairways may be a place for you to escape, The Forest is also a place with an abundance of wildlife. From owls to our familial alligators roaming the lakes, there is something magical about playing 36 holes of golf while wildlife flourishes.

Winter Golfing Without the Snow

No need to worry about snow ruining your winter golf plans! With beautiful mid-60 mornings with low temps dipping to an average of mid-40s, golf at The Forest is year-round! Even during the summer, catch your tee time in the morning to beat the heat and potential afternoon showers, just in time to hit the 19th hole for a bite to eat and a drink with your fellow members.

Maintain a Handicap

We all know plenty of golf-industry professionals who don't keep a valid handicap - a true travesty. Having a legitimate handicap makes playing matches fun and fair. It's easier to get than you may think! Luckily for you, we have your PGA Professionals ready for your private or group lesson at your convenience. With the help of PGA Professionals and being paired up with those who are of equal playing level, achieving single digits may be within reach!

As golf advocates, we may have taken lessons from various teachers over the years, but have you ever committed to a long-term relationship with your PGA Professional? Your game and potentially even your passion for playing golf may be stagnated because of it. Taking lessons at The Forest consists of short and long game training to your mentality. Sticking to your PGA Professionals at the Forest will give you lasting and consistent improvements to your game.

Play 36 Holes in One Day

Whether it's for fun or for a good cause, a marathon golf day of 36 holes will teach you some real-life lessons. The first being there is no such thing as too much golf! With the convenience of two elite golf courses, what some may want to achieve once in their lifetime, TFCC members have the opportunity throughout the year! Such a packed schedule requires stamina and preparation, but few golfers may experience. Some quick tips to achieving a solid 36 hole day consist of eating right and staying hydrated. With the 19th hole at the heart of the community, your balanced meal and hydration await!

Compete in a Tournament

Most golfers will never play in any meaningful tournament. Why not give it a shot? Even if you're not the best player, there are plenty of players that compete at all skill levels at The Forest. From Golisano's Children Hospital golf tournaments to our Member-Guest Invitationals, we have several tournaments that may reach the peak of your golf experience, as many of these events book up very quickly with a long waitlist to follow.

Sink a Hole in One

Okay, there's both a bit of luck and skill involved in getting that ace. There are even PGA Professionals who don't have one yet! Watching that ball soar and then to sink in that hole is a joy we wish everybody can experience. We have had several of our members and guests get that ace; of course, we find it only right to get them a drink on the house for this accomplishment!

Introduce Someone to the Game

Golf is an intimidating game for new players. Do your non-golfing friends and children a favor and introduce them to the game. Teach them etiquette and make them feel comfortable on and off the course. You may find a future playing partner who loves the game as much as you do. It only takes just one time on the course to get a golf buddy for life.

So, while some golf experiences like playing at Pebble Beach seems unachievable, who knows! There is an everlasting golfing experience that awaits you here at The Forest. Start your journey at The Forest today and enjoy several golf experiences that some may search for throughout their lifetime.
