As a private club located in a non-bundled community in sunny Southwest Florida, we are the home away from home for members both near and far. The members and staff treat one another like family– a place where everyone knows your name, not your number– a club unlike any other. Therefore, thanks to our genuine staff and members, we must have a clubhouse that embodies a similar welcoming spirit, provide elite golf, world-class dining, and the modern amenities that come together to create an exceptionally active and social lifestyle for all ages. Our club’s goal is to capture who we are and create lasting memories and fun-filled experiences that are not limited to our friends living within the community.

Prioritizing Social Life

We strive to be the ideal destination for a social life that values its amenities and clubhouse in nature’s most pristine setting. Our club greets its members with a warm invitation and highlights the importance of clubhouse, courses, and amenity interactions. We want our clubhouse to be both the life of the party and a relaxing destination. Even on our private tours, you can see the camaraderie and relaxation amongst our members and staff- a truly welcoming environment in a resort-style paradise. 

Of course, with beautiful weather year-round, an expansive covered and sun terrace for outdoor dining was a selling point for many members, creating a much more casual destination for post-game drinks and light-hearted conversation. Our social life at The Forest thrives as we offer many “clubs within a club.” If you are worried about finding a group, we’ve got you covered! There are so many events that happen year-round that not only can our team pair you up, but our members always welcome new faces!  

Embracing Nature in its Most Pristine Setting

As part of our mission, we thrive on being an environmentally sustainable club from the clubhouse to the courses and have achieved designation as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.” As one of less than 1,000 courses in the world to hold the title of Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, our firm commitment to the environment created a club that benefits and enhances the community for a natural and sustainable environment. Our sustainable accomplishments include reduced water consumption on the course by utilizing recycled water for irrigation, removing exotic vegetation, replacing it with native species, and reducing fertilizer and pesticides. Our club goes beyond sustainable practices and prioritizes taking action to conserve and benefit the wildlife that calls our club their home. 

We value our wildlife and stay in close contact with CROW (The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife), whose president, Paul Ben-Susan, is an active member of our club. With the passionate efforts of our staff, members, and networking with local wildlife conservation efforts, we have a healthy ecosystem where species can thrive and have a support system for injured, sick, or orphaned animals. Various species migrate and nestle their way onto the property each year. We firmly believe in utilizing conservation and sustainable practices to create an environmentally friendly club welcoming home for its members, staff, and wildlife. 

Keeping Up with Modern Practices

As we embrace our natural environment here at The Forest, we have recently added to our golf cart fleet, Tempo Walk carts. We believe that going back to our traditions of walking the courses is a selling factor of our club and should always remain an option for our golfers. Having these new Tempo Walk carts helps golfers rediscover the beauty of our courses that we have so much pride in maintaining. This hands-free caddie offers GPS yardage, carries bags, coolers, and other accessories. Our golfers won’t have to worry about pushing and pulling a handcart or carrying clubs. Now, they can focus on everything that first attracted them to the game: the traditions, strategy competition, and friendship.
