that when you become a member of any country club, you want to have access to
it whenever you want. That means knowing about the reserved blocks, the
aerification of the courses, and what's in store for the month, including
events and dinners, but most importantly, not feeling like another number. |
know that at many other country clubs, you are referred to by your member
number, but not at the Forest. The Forest is where everyone knows your name!
Even if that means your group's name for golf! Yes, that's right, you can
create a team name for you and your golf buddies; some groups create shirts
too! After your game, we have your reserved table ready for a quick sit down to
clarify that you scored under 90 and that on hole 6, that third shot out of the
bunker didn't count. This commitment to our members is what makes them feel
part of a different community; one where you don't have to be a resident to
feel at home.
Not only have our courses
been the host to USGA events, over 16 Florida State Golf Association events, as
well as ranking in Golfweek Magazine as one of Florida's Top 25 Most
Distinctive Courses; but how we revolve our course around our members. For
example, instead of a points-based tee system, we promise low-density golf even
during peak season through our preferred tee times system. Because we have two
distinct golf courses, there is no pressure of bumping into the person in front
of you, because we know that feeling.
One of the most frustrating
parts about golf memberships is the dreaded two-week aerification process that
closes down the entire course. Not here! When we aerify one of our courses, we
keep the other one open! So that means golf 365 days a year here at The Forest,
whether it be on the long and narrow Bear Course or the short and wide Bobcat
We all know the one friend
who calls you the morning of to see if you can fit him in for a round of golf.
Now you are stuck with that moment of realization that you have to book one
week in advance for your blocks, so what do you do? Just call us, and we can
personally make it happen because remember, we are a community.
For A Purpose
One of the best feelings
you can get is when you give back to the community. All of our members take
great pride in the numerous charity events that we have. Coming up is the CMAA
Charity Classic. The FLCMAA Everglades Region Charity Classic has contributed
to over $2.4 million in support of local charities. For the 2019 Charity Event,
the CMAA's goal is to raise $200,000, which will benefit Barbara's Friends,
Youth Haven, and the Hospitality Program at FGCU. To purchase your Gala or
Classic tickets for this year's CMAA Charity Event click here. Remember to
bring your cell phones as they will be using Text2Bid for all bidding. We are
always so excited to see new and returning faces at any event!
When you become a member of
The Forest, you know you can count on us to achieve excellence and make you
feel at home, even without having to buy a home.
